The phone which was first introduced at the MWC 2016 has been now launched in India. Yes, Alcatel Idol 4 has been finally launched at a price tag of Rs 16999. The phone is accompanied with a virtual reality headset, which will give an immersive 360-degree viewing and gaming. An additional boom key gives access to the user with a range of functions, that somehow adds to the easy usability factor.

Considering the specifications of Alcatel Idol 4, it comes with a 5.3-inch (1920 X 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS LTPS display, Precog UI (Touchless control), Live UI, Parallax UI. Powering it is an Octa-core Snapdragon 617 (4 X 1.7 GHz + 4 X 1.2 GHz) processor with Adreno 405 GPU, coupled to it are the 3 GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 512 GB via microSD.
Operating system is Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) while it supports Hybrid dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD). Camera duties are handled by 13 MP rear with dual-tone LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, EIS and an 8 MP front-facing camera with LED flash, 1.12 um pixel size, 84-degree wide-angle lens.
