Asus Zenfone 3s Max With 5000mAh Battery Launched At Rs. 14,999

Asus Zenfone 3s Max is the latest smartphone from the Taiwanese manufacturer to be released in India. Succeeding the Zenfone 3 Max, the brand new handset comes with improved processing and build quality. The Zenfone 3s Max will go on sale from today itself for a price of Rs. 14,999.

Battery life has gradually become a priority for recent smartphone buyers. More and more manufacturers are coming up with their own big-battery handsets. Asus Zenfone 3s Max joins the league with phones like Lenovo P2 and Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro to rock a large 5000mAh cell.

Asus Zenfone 3s Max Specifications

The Asus Zenfone 3s Max comes with an elegant metal body. On the top, there is a 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS LCD panel. This is a 2.5D curved display with 400 nits of brightness. It is also among the very few phones to launch with the new Android 7.0 Nougat update out of the box. Asus’ custom ZenUI 3.0 runs on top.

Powering the phone is the 64-bit Octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset. It has eight Cortex A53 cores running at 1.5 GHz each along with a dual-core Mali T860 GPU.

Coming to the memory department, the Zenfone 3s Max has 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB internal memory. You can also expand the storage by using micro SD cards up to 2 TB capacity. Moving on to the camera hardware, the smartphone has got a 13 MP rear shooter and an 8 MP selfie unit. There is support for Full HD 1080p video recording at up to 30fps.

The dual SIM handset is compatible with 4G networks and supports VoLTE calls. Speaking of other connectivity options, there is dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, FM Radio and OTG-compliant micro USB port. Lastly, a 5000mAh battery juices up the handset, which also supports reverse charging.

Talking about pricing, the 3 GB / 32 GB model is only available, and it costs Rs. 14,999. Coming to availability, the phone will be up for sale at various online and offline retailers from today itself.
