Asus Zenfone 3 Go Leaked Before Launch: Specs and First Look

Taiwanese manufacturer Asus may be gearing up to launch yet another smartphone in its Zenfone 3 Series. Deemed as the Zenfone 3 Go, the handset is going to be an entry level device. Official render of the upcoming smartphone has already surfaced along with speculated specifications. Just yesterday, the company released the older Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE (ZB500KL) in India.

The upcoming smartphone bears a similar design language to the Zenfone 3 family. The phone has a brushed finished metallic back with prominent antenna lines. Judging by the leaked render, the smartphone appears to be quite sleek and ergonomic. Now, let’s move on to the internal specs of the upcoming smartphone.

Asus Zenfone 3 Go: Specifications

Speaking of specifications, the Zenfone 3 Go is will come with a 5-inch HD 720p IPS display. This will be a 2.5D curved panel. Internally, the smartphone will feature the rather old Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset. The quad-core 64-bit processor may have started to show its age, but it still does a decent job.

Memory-wise, the handset will probably have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. We still don’t know if micro SD cards will be supported. Coming to the camera department, the Zenfone 3 Go is rumored to rock a 13 MP primary shooter along with a 5 MP selfie unit.


The battery capacity of the future smartphone is still a mystery. Nevertheless, the Zenfone 3 Go will come with the usual connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.

Asus Zenfone 3 Go: Pricing and Release Date

As you may guess by the specs, the Zenfone 3 Go is going to be a budget smartphone. According to speculations, the handset will cost around EUR 150 or around Rs. 10,000. Talking about the release date, Asus is expected to make the official announcement at the MWC 2017, which is due this month.
