Yes, after bringing the t.phone in the Indian market, Smartron is about to launch Sachin Tendulkar’s SRT Smartphone on May 3. This is the second smartphone of the company after the t.phone which was launched after the introduction of t.book.

This is the first ever signature smartphone of Sachin Tendulkar with any brand. To further build confidence in this particular report, Sachin Tendulkar was spotted in a studio where he was shooting something for the smartphone brand.

Confirming all the rumours around the device, the company has now officially announced that the smartphone is going to be launched in the market on May 3. Sachin is already a strategic shareholder and the Brand Ambassador of the company.

The company has already started a new campaign from the day of Sachin’s birthday which allows users to write to Sachin with hashtags. The top 5 entries will be selected and the users will be able to meet Sachin on the launch of the new SRT phone on May 3.

The specifications of the phone and other features are not revealed by the company yet and the teaser also indicates just that the company will be launching a new smartphone.

According to speculations, the upcoming phone might be a successor of the t.phone with some improved features and specifications. But, association of Sachin with the particular smartphone indicates that the phone has something to do with the Master Blaster.
