Priyanka Telecom’s sub-brand Centric introduced the Centric G1 smartphone along with couple of other smartphones like Centric L1, P1, and P1 Plus. Centric G1 is basically a budget segment smartphone which comes with a decent set of specifications. The smartphone comes with 5.5 inch HD display, quad core chip-set, 3 GB RAM and VoLTE support.
However the major highlight of this smartphone is its sandstone finish at the back which really feels good in the hand, and also gives it a stylish look. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 9,000 and will be available for purchase soon. In this post, we will unbox the device and do a quick review of the device.

The Centric G1 features a 5.5 inch HD IPS LCD with OGS & Dragon Glass display. It comes with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It houses an 8 MP primary camera with auto focus, 5P lens, LED flash and a 5 MP secondary camera. The device has got rounded edges and a sandstone finish back which makes it to feel good and comfortable while holding in hand.
On the front top, there is a earpiece, and a 5MP front camera.
On the front bottom, there are three touch capacitive buttons which are not backlit.
On the back, there is an 8 MP primary camera followed by speaker beside it and a LED flash below it. There is a Centric branding in the center.
On the right, there is a volume up & down button followed by a power button below it.
Top part has got a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a micro USB port.
The device features a 5.5 inch HD IPS LCD with OGS and Dragon Glass display. It has got a pixel density of 267 PPI and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It features the on screen navigation buttons. The OGS (One Glass Solution) eliminates air gaps between the screen and the protective layer hence improving the visibility and viewing angles of the phone as compared to any other normal HD display panel.
It houses an 8 MP rear camera with auto focus, 5P lens, and a single LED flash and a 5 MP secondary camera on the front for the selfies. The rear camera can shoot up to full HD videos.
The Centric G1 offers decent performance, good build quality, and a decent battery life. The device comes with a decent 8 MP primary camera. The highlight of the device is its premium sandstone finish on the back, which is similar to what was seen on the premium OnePlus One. Due to this finish, users will get a good grip on the device. This device is definitely worth considering if you want a good device in the budget segment.
