Intex has launched a new smartphone Aqua 5.5 VR+ in the budget segment. The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ is priced at Rs. 5,799 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart. The phone is the successor of last year’s Aqua 5.5 VR. The new phone comes with VR Headset and 3D content.
This is the second phone in Intex‘s Aqua series within this month. Earlier this month, the domestic smartphone maker had launched the Aqua Note 5.5. The new Aqua 5.5 VR+ has a 5.5-inch HD display, 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash and a 2,800mAh battery. The phone packs 2GB RAM and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ Specifications
The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. The dual SIM phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6737V/W processor clocked at 1.25 GHz and coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. It packs 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 64GB with microSD.
Coming to the camera, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ sports an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash. At the front, it features a 5MP camera with LED flash.
Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The Aqua 5.5 VR+ houses a 2,800mAh battery. The phone measures 153 × 77.5 × 10.3 mm and it weighs 176 grams.
Pricing and Availability
The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ is priced at Rs. 5,799. It comes in Champagne color and will be available exclusively from Flipkart. Moreover, it will come with Reliance Jio extra data benefit. To recall, Intex had recently partnered with Jio to offer 25GB 4G free data to Intex 4G users.
