Motorola today unveiled a new color variant of its mid range device the Moto G5S. The company had announced during the device’s initial launch in India that it will launch a Blue color variant of the device after some time.
Now, the Lenovo owned Motorola has launched the Midnight Blue color variant of the Moto G5S. It is priced at Rs. 14,999 but will be available at Rs. 12,999 this festive season. Earlier, the company had launched the device in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold colour options.
There is no difference in the new color variant and the other two colors. The specifications and pricing of the devices are the same and only the color has changed. Currently, the Midnight Blue Moto G5S will be available from Moto Hubs and offline retailers only.
Moto G5S Specifications
The Moto G5S runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. It features a 5.2 inch full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of ~424 PPI. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the Moto G5S features a 16MP primary camera with Phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. The camera is capable of recording 1080P videos and comes with features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and auto-HDR. On the front, the device sports a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash.
The Moto G5S is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and FM Radio.
