Telecom operator Airtel is reportedly partnering with Lava smartphones to manufacture a 4G smartphone at an effective price of Rs. 1,699. After launching a 4G smartphone in partnership with Karbonn, the company might soon launch a new device with Lava.
As reported by 91Mobiles, Airtel may launch a 4G VoLTE smartphone at just Rs. 1,699 in partnership with Lava. This phone too will have entry-level specifications but may come with a 4.5-inch or 5-inch screen which is bigger than the 4-inch screen on the Karbonn A40 Indian.

While not all the specifications are known for this smartphone, we know some of the basics. It is reported that the Airtel and Lava smartphone is expected to come with a 4.5-inch or 5-inch display. The phone is told to be originally priced at Rs. 3,500 with a similar cashback like the Karbonn smartphone.
While the specifications of the Airtel and Lava smartphone are not told, we can safely say that it will also come with bundled offers from Airtel and a similar scheme as offered by the Karbonn A40 Indian with Airtel SIM.
