Samsung teased a new On Series smartphone in India last month, exclusively on Amazon India. Amazon has now revealed the smartphone as the Galaxy On7 Prime and according to report, the smartphone will be launched in India next week. It has similar specifications as the Galaxy J7 Prime which was launched in 2016, but Samsung has upgraded the camera in the On7 Prime.
The Galaxy On7 Prime will come with metal unibody design in two variants; 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The fingerprint sensor is embedded in the home button, and the phone comes with dedicated dual SIM slots.
The Galaxy On7 Prime will feature Samsung Pay Mini to transfer money just by scanning the QR code or using the mobile number. It also uses UPI (Unified Payment Interface) to transfer money directly to bank account.

The Galaxy On7 Prime will feature a 5.5 inches Full HD display with 2.5D curved cover glass. It will be powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor and 3GB/4GB RAM. Two storage options will be there; 32GB and 64GB with expansion support of up to 256GB via microSD card.
The Galaxy On7 Prime will be running the Android 7.0 Nougat with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI out of the box. In the camera department, the phone will feature a 13MP sensor on both the front and the rear with the same f/1.9 aperture. It comes with all the essential connectivity options like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy On7 Prime will come in two color options; Black and Gold. The pricing for the smartphone is not yet revealed, but it will be available exclusively on Amazon India.
