You will soon be able to use Facebook stickers on WhatsApp Messenger

Facebook is working to bring its sticker packs to its instant messaging platform WhatsApp. The latest WhatsApp Beta versions 2.18.19 and 2.18.21 submitted by WhatsApp to the Google Play Store comes with seven hidden Facebook sticker packs, however, official rollout to all users is still unknown at the moment.

The latest feature by WhatsApp has been spotted by WABetaInfo. The sticker packs include Facebook stickers like Unchi, Rollie, Dragon Clan, Meep, Fox, Baach, Zanimaux, and The Defenders. Earlier, WhatsApp beta versions had only a couple of stickers – Unchi and Rollie, but now the recent beta update includes these seven sticker packs.

As per WABetaInfo, the stickers will be enabled remotely in the future. These are animated stickers which means each sticker will have a small animation like GIFs to enhance the user experience on WhatsApp.

Moreover, there is another feature added in the same beta versions which allow users to find all the administrators at the top of the group participants list in the Group Info. Recently, WhatsApp also rolled out a feature dubbed as ‘Dismiss as Admin,’ which allows fellow group admins to dismiss another admin without removing him from the group.

WhatsApp has been quite active in adding new features to the messaging platform in order to enhance the user experience. Recently, after globally launching the WhatsApp Business app, the messaging platform has now released it in the Indian market too.

Now, with the addition of stickers will allow users to interact in a new way. At the moment, it’s unknown how many sticker packs will be made available to the users. The WhatsApp Stickers are for beta users as of now and will be rolled out to all the Android users gradually but we have no information on when the company is planning to activate them.
