Moto Z2 Force with Shatterproof display, free TurboPower Mod launched in India for Rs 34,999

Motorola has launched its flagship smartphone in India from the Z series, the Moto Z2 Force. It comes with the latest and the most powerful hardware with the Moto mods support.

The Z2 Force comes with a dual camera setup on the back and a metal unibody design. The price of the smartphone is set to be Rs. 34,999 and Motorola is giving away a Moto TurboPower mod with the smartphone.

Moto Z2 Force Specifications

The Moto Z2 Force features a metal unibody design with the 5.5 inches P-OLED Quad HD display protected by the Shatterproof coating. The smartphone is also Splash resistant to keep the internals safe from little splashes. Motorola has launched the phone with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo running out of the box.

The Moto Z2 Force is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 540 GPU. It further features 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage; the storage is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.


The Moto Z2 Force sports dual camera setup including two 12MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture. More features include phase detection autofocus, laser auto-focus, and dual-tone flash. It can record 4K videos at 30 fps and 720p videos at 240 fps, the front camera is a 5MP shooter with dual LED dual-tone flash.

The smartphone lacks the 3.5 mm audio port, and to compensate for it, Motorola has bundled a 3.5mm to Type-C headphone adapter in the box. Other features of the phone include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth, NFC and a USB Type C port. The phone is backed by a 2790mAh battery.

Motorola is providing a Moto TurboPower mod with every purchase of the Moto Z2 Force. It is a Moto mod which extends the smartphone’s battery just be snapping it to the back of the phone; it has a 3490mAh capacity and worths Rs. 5,999 on the retail market.

Moto Z2 Force pricing and availability

Motorola has priced the Moto Z2 Force at an aggressive Rs. 34,999, and it comes with the Moto TurboPower mod with a capacity of 3490mAh worth Rs. 5,999. Motorola has launched only the Super Black color in India. The Moto Z2 Force will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting today midnight, in addition to Moto Hub outlets across the country.
