HMD Global has been taking its promise of quick Android updates seriously and the already started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Nokia 3 via an OTA update. The company’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Vikas has posted about the update on Twitter.
HMD Global has also rolled out an update for two more smartphones, bringing Android 8.1 Oreo to the Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 7 Plus.
The three smartphones getting the update got released recently and HMD Global has already announced an update for these smartphones. The Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 7 Plus update brings battery saving navigation buttons, some new settings menu and the security patch has been updated to April. The Nokia 6 (2018) was launched as the New Nokia 6 in India.

The Nokia 3 was launched last year and it was one of the first Android phones from Nokia launched in India. The device was launched with Android 7.0 Nougat running out of the box with stock Android experience. The smartphone was launched at a price of Rs. 9,499 with offline availability.
