Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Pre-orders start on Flipkart: Price, Launch Offers

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 pre-orders have started today after it was launched last month in India. Asus has introduced three variants of the smartphone- 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage, 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage here. However, the 6GB model which has slightly different specifications, will not go on sale as of now.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 pre-orders start at 12 pm on Flipkart. The mid-range phone from Asus takes on Xiaomi’s recent popular phone the, Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Zenfone Max Pro offers similar hardware, but it also comes with the stock Android experience. Moreover, in terms of pricing, it is even less costly than Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 Price, launch offers

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 price in India starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will cost Rs. 12,999. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 14,999. As mentioned, the top model will not be available as of now and its release date has also not been mentioned. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 comes in Midnight Black and Grey color options.

The company has partnered with Flipkart to offer Complete Mobile Protection at just Rs. 49 for a year. It is covering the broken display, liquid damage, hardware and software issues etc. With the release, the handset will be also available with no-cost EMI offers via credit cards and Bajaj FinServ.


As for the other launch offers, Vodafone will offer ZenFone Max Pro M1 buyers 10GB complimentary data month for 12 months on recharges of Rs. 199 prepaid plans and above. As for postpaid users who are on Rs. 399 Red plan, Vodafone will offer 10GB free data every month for a year, while those on Rs. 499 plan will get Red Protect access free.

If we talk about specs, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 sports a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) IPS Full View display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The dual-SIM phone runs a pure version of Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC.

As for the camera, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary Omnivision sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP secondary depth sensing sensor. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Both the rear and front camera get LED flash as well.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 (with aptX), GPS/ A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 also sports Face Unlock feature and a fingerprint sensor as well. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with a bundled 10W charger.
