Now, a stable Global ROM MIUI 9.5 software update with some bug fixes, quick search options, and more are expected in the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Notably, the update will bring Android Oreo 8.1 with it.

Xiaomi has not yet published an official changelog on Mi forums. Users can then flash & setup MIUI 9 on their Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Those users who have not received a notification about the update can go to Settings > About phone > System update > Check for updates. Also, since this is an OTA update; hence it might take a while before it comes on all Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones.
