Chinese smartphone maker Alcatel has launched a new budget device in India dubbed as the Alcatel 3V. The device was announced during the MWC 2018 held in Barcelona. In India, the device has been launched for Rs. 9,999.
The Alcatel 3V features a 6-inch 18:9 full HD+ display and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. During the MWC, Alcatel had also announced Alcatel 1X, Alcatel 5 and two more variants of the Alcatel 3, however, the company has not launched these devices in India yet.
Alcatel 3V Specifications
The Alcatel 3V runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and features a 6.0-inch full HD+ IPS 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The company has not mentioned if the device comes with any additional protection.
In terms of performance, the Alcatel 3V is powered by a quad core MediaTek MT8735A processor coupled with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. In terms of memory, the device comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
Coming to the camera department, the Alcartel 3V features a 12MP primary camera with 1.25μm pixel size and an LED flash. On the front, the device sports a 2MP secondary camera for selfies and video calling.
The Alcatel 3V is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device measures 162 x 76 x 8.05 mm and weighs 155 grams.
Pricing and Availability
The Alcatel 3V has been priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available in Spectrum Black, Spectrum Blue and Spectrum Gold colors exclusively from Flipkart starting from May 31.
