Samsung scheduled an event on October 11 to launch a new Galaxy smartphone with four cameras. It is not clear what will be the name of this new Galaxy phone, however, past rumors suggest that it won’t be the new Galaxy ‘F’ series or the Galaxy S10 flagship.
The invite was posted on Twitter with an image written ‘4X fun’ with the caption “Let the fun times begin” and the date that is October 11, 2018. As Samsung doesn’t usually schedule an event in October, so as per rumors, the company is expected to introduce a new series of smartphones with four rear cameras.

There are already several Samsung smartphones that feature dual front or dual rear cameras. Moreover, a recent rumor says that the Galaxy A (2019) will also feature a triple rear camera setup including a 32MP sensor and even the Galaxy S10 is said to come with triple rear cameras and dual front cameras.
Coming to this new phones, a tipster indicates that all the four cameras will be at the back and unlike other companies it will not be a two cameras in front and two cameras at back setup. If we talk about the name of the smartphone, it could be the new Galaxy A (2019) series as Samsung traditionally launches it during the December. This new series is expected to sport an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
Samsung will do the live stream on samsung.com/galaxy on October 11. We will know more details about this new Galaxy device in the coming weeks.
