HMD Global is expected to launch Nokia 7.1 Plus at its global event scheduled for October 4 in London. It is also expected to launch in India on October 11. Now, ahead of launch, the Nokia 7.1 has been leaked in alleged press renders that reveal display notch and dual rear cameras.
The latest leak of Nokia 7.1 is courtesy of tipster Roland Quandt from WinFuture. The smartphone shown in the renders sports a Nokia 6.1 Plus-like display notch and bottom chin with Nokia branding. The back of the device is glass with a metal frame and has vertically stacked dual cameras with Zeiss branding and a fingerprint sensor.
Nokia 7.1 Plus rumored specifications
If we talk about specifications, the Nokia 7.1 is expected to sport a 5.84-inch Full HD+(2244 x 1080 pixels) notch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 636 processor with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB internal storage.
The smartphone is supposed to run on Android 8.1 Oreo and will also be upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie as it is an Android One device. In terms of camera, it will sport dual camera set up at the back with Zeiss optics having a 12MP and a 5MP sensors. There could be an 8MP front-facing camera.
The Dual SIM phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and Type-C for connectivity. It will also pack a 3.5 mm headphone jack and FM Radio. There is a back mounted fingerprint sensor.
Nokia 7.1 expected price
The Nokia 7.1 price is rumored to be around EUR 349 (Rs. 29,500 approx.) for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant and EUR 399 (about Rs. 33,700) for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant. The device is expected to be launched in Blue and Steel Grey color options.
