We at GadgetsToUse got our hands on these cars, and in this read, I will share all the tech features that stood out during our testing of Mahindra’s BE 6e and XEV 9e.

Launched on November 26, 2024, the Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e EVs have definitely arrived in style. With their futuristic design, exciting specs, and safety features we we’re bound to be impressed.

Other than powerful speed and the retro Need for Speed/Asphalt game vibes, this car comes with a lifetime warranty and a whole bunch of tech features pre-loaded with it. We’ve listed all the features for you below.

1. M.A.I.A (Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Assistant)

During the launch event, Mahindra unveiled its own AI named MAIA, terming it as Software On Wheels (S.O.W). Claiming it to be “the most powerful mind in the Automotive world“, Mahindra’s AI-powered virtual assistant gives a completely different perspective to your driving experience. It can be activated using voice controls and operates on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295, recognized as the fastest automotive-grade chipset.

2. Camera Sleep Detection

The BE 6e and XEV 9e incorporate a sophisticated camera-based sleep detection system, prioritizing driver safety. This feature continuously monitors the driver’s facial expressions and eye movements, alerting them if signs of drowsiness or fatigue are detected. By proactively addressing potential risks associated with driver fatigue, Mahindra demonstrates its commitment to road safety and passenger well-being.

3. Sentry Mode
