Asus has finally announced its Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2 smartphones in Russia. The highlights of Max Pro M2 include glass back, an FHD+ notch display, Snapdragon 660, stock Android 8.1 Oreo, 12MP+5MP dual rear camera, 13MP front camera, and a 5000mAh battery.
Along with the Zenfone Max Pro M2, the Zenfone Max M2 was also announced. Its key features are an HD+ notch display, Snapdragon 632 SoC, 13MP+2MP dual rear camera, 8MP front camera, metal back, and a 4000mAh battery.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Specifications
The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2280 × 1080 pixels) display with a notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 2TB with microSD.
In terms of camera, there is a dual rear camera set up that has a 12MP primary camera with Sony IMX486 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size, and a 5MP secondary camera. The rear camera also supports PDAF and EIS. There is a 13MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
The Dual SIM phone has dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots. Other connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS. The device packs a big 5000mAh battery. The smartphone runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo. It sports a back mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack and has NXP Smart Amp support.

Coming to the Zenfone Max M2, it sports a 6.3-inch HD+ (1520×720 pixels) 19:9 aspect ratio display. It is powered by Snapdragon 632 processor with up to 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and up to 64GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 2TB with microSD.
In the camera department, it also sports a dual rear camera set up with a 13MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, EIS and a 2MP secondary camera. It sports an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. There is a back-mounted fingerprint sensor.
It also comes with dedicated dual SIM and microSD slots and also supports dual 4G VoLTE feature. Other connectivity features are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. It packs a 4000mAh battery. The smartphone runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo. It sports a 3.5mm audio jack and has support for NXP Smart Amp, FM radio.
The Zenfone Max Pro M2 price starts at 17990 Rubles (Rs. 19,140 roughly). It comes in Blue and Gray colors and will go on sale in Russia from December 12. The Zenfone Max M2 price starts at 12990 Rubles (Rs. 13,810 approx.) and it is currently on sale in Russia. It comes in Black, Blue and Gold colors.
The smartphones will be launched in India on December 11.
