Alongside the Galaxy S10 and S10+, Samsung also introduced an economic version of this series dubbed as Galaxy S10e. It comes with many similar features to the regular models such as hardware, Infinity-O Display,
IP68 rating and wireless charging with PowerShare feature.
However, this lite version of Galaxy S10 has many differences as well. Such as it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the power button and dual rear cameras. The Galaxy S10e price starts at $750 which roughly translates to Rs. 53,000.
Samsung Galaxy S10e Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S10e sports a 5.8-inch Full HD+ (2280 × 1080 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED display with HDR10+ support. It is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Unlike the Galaxy S10, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor in the power button.
The S10e is also powered by either Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9 Series 9820 processor. It comes packed with 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. The storage is expandable up to 512GB. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI on top.
In terms of camera, it sports a dual rear camera set up that has a 12MP primary Dual Pixel camera with LED Flash, f/2.4-f/1.5 variable aperture and a 16MP Ultra Wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture with up to 8X digital zoom. It also sports a 10MP Dual Pixel front camera with 80° wide-angle lens and f/1.9 aperture.
Connectivity options on the phone include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4/5GHz) 4×4 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC, and MST. It packs a 3,100mAh battery with fast Charging support both on wired and wireless charging. It also supports Wireless PowerShare feature.
Price, availability
The Samsung Galaxy S10e is priced at $749.99 (Rs. 53,215 approx.) for the 6GB/128GB version. The 8GB/256GB version of S10e costs $849.99 (Rs. 60,310 approx.). The device will be available for pre-order from February 21 and will go on sale from March 8 in select markets.
The Galaxy S10e pre-orders in India will begin on Flipkart starting from February 22. The price in India and sale date will be revealed soon. The S10e comes in Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Canary Yellow and Flamingo Pink colors.
