Vivo V15 launched with Helio P70, triple rear cameras and 32MP pop-up camera: Price, specifications

Vivo launched its V15 Pro smartphone in India last month with a 32MP pop-up selfie camera and triple cameras at the back. Now, they announced a new Vivo V15 smartphone in Thailand. It comes with the same pop-up selfie camera but has a different triple camera setup at the back and a different hardware too. It also doesn’t come with in-display fingerprint sensor which was there in V15 Pro.

Vivo V15 Specifications

The Vivo V15 sports a 6.53-inch Full HD+(2340 × 1080 pixels) LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor instead of Snapdragon 675 which powered the V15 Pro. It packs 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is expandable up to 256GB.

In terms of camera, the triple rear camera set up at the back comes with a 12MP rear camera with f/1.78 aperture instead of a 4B8MP sensor used in V15 Pro. It retains the secondary 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and the 8MP 120-degree Super wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture. It also retains the 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie with Funtouch OS 9 on top. Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS, Micro USB, and 3.5 mm audio jack. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset is powered by a 3400mAh battery with Dual-Engine fast charging support.

Price, availability

The Vivo V15 price has been set at 10,999 Thai Baht (Rs. 24,465 approx.) in Thailand. Vivo will also launch V15 in India at a more affordable price sometime later this month.
