OnePlus has finally unveiled its OnePlus 8 series at an online event today. The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro come with several improvements including the flagship hardware. The OnePlus 8 Pro is the more premium model between the two and it comes with features like 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865 processor, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 256GB UFS 3.0 storage, and a quad rear camera setup with a new 48MP Sony IMX689 sensor. Most importantly, it will now be the first OnePlus flagship with wireless charging support.

OnePlus 8 Pro Features
120Hz Display
The OnePlus 8 Pro features a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor and 3D Gorilla Glass protection. The display also supports HDR10+.
Apart from this, the OnePlus 8 also sports Corning Gorilla Glass protection at the back.
Snapdragon 865
The device is powered by Octa-Core 2.84GHz Snapdragon 865 7nm SoC with Adreno 650 GPU.
LPDDR5 RAM & UFS 3.0
Apart from the flagship-level processor, it also comes with the latest LPDDR5 type RAM and a faster UFS 3.0 storage. The RAM and storage options are available up to 12GB and up to 256GB.
5G Support
The SD 865 chip inside OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a Snapdragon X55 5G modem that supports both NSA and SA 5G networks.
New 48MP Sony IMX689 Sensor
The phone has a quad rear-camera setup with a new 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 sensor that also supports OIS. Other cameras include a 48-megapixel 120° ultra-wide-angle camera with 3cm macro mode, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera that also supports 30x digital zoom & OIS and a 5-megapixel mono sensor.
MEMC Chip
The phone has a dedicated MEMC chip that can change standard 24fps videos at up to 120 fps. The company claims that this chip makes it ideal for watching action-packed videos as it reduces motion blur, and stuttering to offer better clarity.
30W Fast Charging
The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a 4510mAh battery and just like its predecessor it supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging that can charge it up to 50% in just 23 minutes.
Wireless Charging
The 8 Pro is also the first OnePlus phone that supports for Warp Charge 30 wireless fast charging that can charge it from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes. It also supports wireless reverse charging as well.
Wrapping Up
These features make the OnePlus 8 Pro complete flagship phone. However, this time OnePlus has priced the flagship much higher than before.
