How to Add Music to Your Facebook Profile
One can easily add music to his/ her Facebook profile through the Music card on their profile page, as described below. But before we begin, note that the feature is currently limited to Facebook’s Android and iOS apps. It is not available on the desktop version.
Steps to Add Music to Facebook Profile on Android & iOS
1] Open the Facebook app on your phone and head to the Profile section.
2] Here, scroll down and look for the Music next to Photos and Life Event cards. If it’s not visible, you may have to slide through the cards to be able to see the option.
3] On the following page, click the + button on the top right corner.
4] Search for your favorite song name, album, or artist to find the music of your choice. Tap the song’s thumbnail to hear a preview before selecting it. You can add all the songs that you want to appear on your Facebook profile.
5] Now, go back to your profile and swipe down to refresh. The songs you’ve added recently will appear in the Music card.
To add more songs, just click the + button on the top. Whereas, to remove an existing song, click the three dots beside it and hit “Delete song from the profile.”
Anyone who visits your Facebook profile will be able to see the songs you’ve added in the Music section. Tapping the song will play a preview while the full version can be played by using the ‘Play Full Song’ option.
Pin Music to Your Profile
Out of all songs you’ve added so far, you can pin your favorite one right below your name and profile picture. To do the same, tap the three dots beside the track and select ‘Pin to your profile.’ The song will now be featured on your profile and be directly visible to the visitors under your name.
