Motorola announced its latest mid-range 5G smartphone Moto G 5G Plus today. The key features of the new phone include a 6.7-inch CinemaVision 90Hz display with HDR10, Snapdragon 765 SoC with 5G support, Android 10, quad rear camera array with 48 MP main sensor, dual punch-hole selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 20W charging.

Moto G 5G Plus Full Specs

Design & Display

The new Moto G sports a plastic back that comes in Surfing Blue color. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Dimensions of the phone are 168 x 74 x 9mm and its weight is 207g. It also has a water-repellent coating.

Talking about front, it is the company’s first phone with a dual punch-hole selfie camera system.


6.7-inch (1080 × 2520 pixels) Full HD+ LCD 21:9 aspect ratio HDR10 display with 90Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Processor

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 765 7nm processor with Adreno 620 GPU. It packs up to 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.1 storage which is expandable up to 1TB. The smartphone runs on a stock version of Android 10.

Camera

The quad-camera array at the back has a 48MP camera with f/1.7 aperture, Quad pixel technology, an 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

For selfies, it has a 16MP main front camera with f/2.0 aperture and Quad Pixel technology and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture.

Battery & Fast Charging

The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 20W TurboPower fast charging support.

Connectivity

Connectivity features on the phone are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1+L5), GLONASS, Galileo, NFC, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm headset jack.

The MotoG 5G Plus is priced at €349 (Rs. 29,495 approx.) for the 4GB+64GB storage version and €399 (Rs. 33,715 approx.) for the 6GB+128GB storage version. It is now available across Europe and will also roll out soon in other markets including India.
