A. This depends on the country you are traveling to and most countries have their own vaccination policy. So some require you to be vaccinated, while others have not mandated this requirement yet.
Q. Which Covid vaccines are approved by foreign countries to travel from India?
A. In India currently, there are two vaccines available- Covishiled and Covaxin. Covishield is approved by most of the countries and WHO. Covaxin is yet to receive this approval. Some European countries are allowing only WHO-approved vaccines.

A. Again this depends on the country, as some countries have not even mandated the vaccination at all. But you will need to take the second dose as soon as possible if you are traveling.
Q. Can someone take the second dose early in order to travel?
A. Yes. As per the latest guidelines issued by the Health Ministry, people who are going to travel abroad for education, employment, or any other purpose including Tokyo Olympic Games, can get their second dose of the Covishield vaccine after 28 days.
