Design and Build Quality
Let’s start with the design and build quality of OneOdio Pro 10 headphones. The Pro 10 is made of plastic for most of the parts and there is some headband area that is made of metal. At the first impression, the headphones do offer a solid look because of the shiny earcups and padded headband alongside a similar thickness hinge.
Coming to the padding, the headband padding is very soft and you can wear it on your head without being irritated. The earcups also have thick soft cushions, however, this also makes the cavity of earcups a bit smaller. This could have been larger as if someone has big ears, it might feel uncomfortable after some time.
The headband has a leather-like texture on the top and underneath with OneOdio branding on top. This gives headphones a premium look. You can adjust the size of the headband by pulling it from both sides. Also, you will see metal has been used on this adjustment slider which again looks premium.
Another good thing about the design is you can twist the pivoting that connect the headband and the earcups. So this gives the OneOdio Studio Pro 10 the flexibility to use just one side of the headphones while the other can be free, just like you might have seen the DJs doing. Because of this mechanism, you can wear the Pro 10P over your head or around your neck, or use just a single side.
The earcups are also are very flexible as they have a rotatable hinge that can be turned on the inner or outer side. This rotatable design and foldable headband make them easy to carry anywhere in the bag that comes inside the box.
Coming to the comfort while wearing these headphones, the Pro 10 are really soft and comfy because of headband padding and its rotating mechanism. Moreover, the earpad’s padding is also thick and comfortable enough to use. Because of this cushioning, you can enjoy music comfortably for hours without irritating your head or ears.
However, if you have big ears, it may get a bit uncomfortable after long hours. As I mentioned above, the earcups cavity is not large enough to cover the entire ear, this makes big ears under cushion which might feel irritating over time. So, if your ears do not fit within the cups properly, you may take these off after an hour or so for a comfortable experience.
Now coming to the most important part- the sound quality. The sound quality on OneOdio Pro 10 does not disappoint us at any level. As you know the specs, there are large 50mm neodymium drivers that can offer quality audio with some good bass. The headphones also offer a sharp high alongside the bass. However, since it is a DJ headphone so do not expect very balanced audio.
Another good thing about the audio quality of headphones is that the sound coming from them does not irritate even after listening to them for hours. Moreover, when you adjust them with proper fit, the earcup padding can also offer some isolation at some level so you can enjoy only your music.
Overall, the Studio Pro 10, with punchy bass and sharp highs is good for music with beats. Also, these are good for long-time listening because of the comfortable padding. OneOdio’s sound engineers have done a great job of creating these headphones with large 50mm drivers at such an affordable price.
If we talk about the other features, apart from listening to music and all, you can also make calls using one of the cables. The 3.5mm AUX cable also has an integrated mic so you can take or make calls.
Apart from this mic, the cable also has a button using which you can control the music like you can change tracks, and play or pause them. Most importantly, you can also access Google assistant using this button when you are connected to your phone.
The second cable is a long DJ-style coiled cable with a 6.5 mm plug on one end and a 3.5 mm on the other. As you already noticed, the headphones also have two jacks to plugin these cables. you can also use the OneOdio Pro 10 to share audio with other headphones by simply plugging them into the spare port. So you can enjoy watching movies with friends or family.
OneOdio Studio Pro 10 Review: Verdict
