Google is a major player in Smartphone use. However, this year’s Pixel 9 series lacked the flair that makes Google stand out. The Pixel 9 Pro retails at $999, but given the choice, I will not pay this much just for some additional AI features. I understand the AI features of Google are good but apart from that there is not much to offer.
The competitors are giving much more and in a far better price. We can take IQOO 13 that just launched in India. Though Iqoo does not have many AI features, it has something that even Pixel lacks. Yes, the very basic image Cut Out feature that can be seen in most of Android devices is not available on Pixel devices. Thoughts?
What Else is Missing?
Pixel devices have some very good features, like Reimagine, Pixel Studio, and temperature scan, but do we use these features that often? If you were to send a picture of yourself taken with a populated background, then you would make sure you first remove yourself from the background. This can be done by simply pressing and holding down a cut out on the subject in the image, but Pixel does not allow you to do it. There is a workaround, though, but that is not a perfect solution to this.
The Walkaround
You can create cut outs of your images from the Messages app by Google. The feature is called Photomoji, which lets you send a cutout of your image to anyone. This, however, does not work on a chat with oneself like WhatsApp. You need to have a friend with whom you can bombard these cutouts or an alternative number. Here is how you can create them.
Cutting It Just Right
You can access the Photomoji feature in the Messaging Application. You can download the created Cutouts in your gallery and then use whenever you need it. Follow the steps.
1. Open the Messaging app. Choose the contact you want to share the Photomoji.
2. Click on the ” + ” icon. Then click on “Stickers.”
3. Then click on “Create.” Choose your image, and it will process it.
4. Finally, send it, and then once it is sent, Click on the cutout, and you will see the downloading symbol.
5. You can then save it In your gallery by tapping on the Download icon.
Is This a Proper Solution?
Though this gives you a solution, this is more of a temporary fix for the image cut out feature for Pixel devices. Furthermore, this feature is not perfect when it comes to cropping out things. It leaves some details out. Compared to the cutout features of different devices like Samsung, OnePlus or Apple. Which works flawlessly, Photomoji lags behind.
If you are looking to get exceptional results, then you can use sites like Remove. Bg. This is a free site and can be used to remove any background from any kind of image. We have covered an extensive list of sites and tools that can help you achieve similar results. You can read them here.
