The Snapdragon 652 has a octa-core CPU configuration, with four powerful ARM Cortex-A72 cores and four more energy efficient Cortex-A53 cores for background tasks. Snapdragon 652 can handle High-intensity gaming, Rich Graphical display and Multi-tasking with supreme ease. When it comes to LTE speed, the built-in X8 LTE offers Category 7 download speeds of up to 300 Mbps and uploads up to 100 Mbps.
Design & Build
The Le 2 has a Metallic Unibody like the Le 1s, this gives a very premium look to the phone. Even with the metal body the phone is Ultra Light and weighs just 153 grams. Not only that, its dimensions are 15.11 × 7.42 × 0.75 cm, which means it is just 7.5 mm in thickness. The faintly rounded edges connecting back, the sides contrasting light and shadow and the mirror-surfaced fingerprint sensor adds to the premium looks of Le 2.
The LeEco Le 2 comes with the newer Android 6.0 Marshmallow. When its closest competitors like Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3 are still stuck with an outdated Android v 5.1 Lollipop. Moreover, LeEco’s e User Interface makes Marshmallow even more attractive.
LeEco Le 2’s camera system is unmatched in its category. Sporting the capabilities of a 16 MP primary camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera with 1.4 micron pixels puts it well ahead of the rest. The 16 MP PDAF Primary camera comes with Dual-tone flash, Back-illuminated CMOS sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, quick focus and 4K/1080p Video recording capacity @ 30fps. The 8 MP Primary Camera comes with 1.4 μm large pixel size, F/2.2 aperture and 76.5° super wide angle lens.
LeEco Le 2 comes with a one year free membership of Le Eco worth INR 4,900. LeEco membership is spread across music, video, sitcoms and sports. Mainly the LeEco is divided into four categories – Le Vidi, Le Live, Le Music and Le Drive. All this allows you online video streaming in over 10 languages, watch Live TV, online music streaming with access to Live concerts and cloud storage services up to 5 TB.
2 Reasons to Not Buy LeEco Le 2
No MicroSD Slot
Although LeEco Le 2 comes with 32 GB flash memory (ROM) based on eMMC5.1, in addition to that it also offers a whopping 500 GB cloud storage via LeEco but it is not enough as a substitute for an expandable storage.
LeEco Le 2 is backed by a 3000 Li-Ion mAh Battery which seems to be good for any average phone, but Le 2 with a gigantic 5.5 inch Screen and such heavy hardware, deserves a little more than that. Moreover, the Battery is Non-Removable which again is a disadvantage.
LeEco already gained much popularity due to its last year launch Le 1s and Le 2 would only take those stakes higher. The phone has a Snapdragon 652 chipset, Premium Designing, Latest marshmallow OS, Great Camera and the company is also providing 1 year LeEco membership for free. It might have a small battery, but it can be overlooked. Thus, LeEco Le 2 will surely grab much attention this season.
