Google has integrated all their service with Google Drive. It seems that it is the centralized memory storage of everything that you do over Google services. All the attachments available in your GMail can be shifted here, all the Photos snapped using Google Photos can be uploaded here and even if you want to share any other file with anyone else then again it works as a perfect replacement for DropBox.
Whenever we have any hard document near us, we prefer to carry its scanned copy with us. I have all the scanned copy of the important documents with me over a cloud drive. This allows me to access them from anywhere. So, scanning is something which should be quite adjacent for a Cloud storage service. Working along the same lines, Google Drive has this feature of scanning the documents directly to your Google Drive. This feature will not only capture the image of that document but automatically format it by changing it brightness and contrast. This makes the text become absolutely clear when the final scanned copy is seen on the phone. Just follow the steps mentioned below and you will not need CamScanner on your iPhones anymore.
Scan Document using Google Drive App
Open the Application and click that “Plus” icon, highlighted below in the screenshot.
Now among all these new options, tap on Scan.
Once the document is scanned, it will ask you to crop it as per your needs and adjust its alignment using the other controls available on the screen.
Once the scanned copy is finalized by you, it will be automatically uploaded in your Google Drive and then you can always share that file with anyone like any other file available over Google Drive.
