Micromax has been ruling the under 10,000 INR smartphones market for quite a long time now. Once of the main reason for this is the rate at which it launches new device in that price slot. Lately, we have seen lots of competition bumping into this price range, such as Microsoft Lumia 430, Lenovo A7000 and more. Micromax has launched a new device in their Unite series to take on the customer searching for food camera and latest OS at 7000 INR or below. Let us dig deep into the technical details about this device and know about its performance.
Camera and Internal Storage
It has 8MP camera available on the back panel of the device which is also accompanied by a single LED Flash. The auto focus feature will help you to get some decent images with the camera. We would say that this camera is quite justified in this price range. Now, on the front panel you have a secondary camera of 2MP with fixed focus which is good enough for occasional selfie and video chatting.
The internal memory one this device is of 8GB out of which a certain amount of space will be acquired by the pre-installed applications available on the smartphone (commonly known as bloatware).

Processor and Battery
It has 1.3 GHz Quad Core Mediatek processor MTK6582 running on the board accompanied by 1GB RAM to take care of the performance, however we would say that bloatware are something which will add some lag in the UI experience. The device will work quite efficiently in the beginning but then in the long running you might not have a highly fluid experience with this device.
The battery available with Micromax Canvas Unite 3 is of 2000 mAh which will offer you the back up of 8 hours while calling and 200 hours of backup while it is on complete stand by.
Display and Other Features
The display size is of 4.7 Inches with WVGA resolution, which may not look great to you especially when you have more options with better display clarity in this price range. Once you buy this device you will be eligible for free 500 MB of 2G or 3G pack for first two months.
Apart from this you will also have multi-lingual support for native language spoken in India. This is something which has been common for all the devices in this series.
