Honor 7C, Honor 7A will be launched in India on May 22 as Flipkart Exclusive

Honor India will launch its budget smartphone, dubbed as the Honor 7C in India on May 22. The company has sent out invites, however, the invite doesn’t mention the name of the phone. The teaser image clearly shows the design and dual rear cameras, and it is making number 7 sign which hints it could be the Honor 7C.

To recall, Honor launched the Honor 7C and the Honor 7A in China back in March and its user manual was also uploaded to Honor India site recently, so we might see both the phones. Honor 7C is the latest budget smartphone from Huawei’s sub-brand and comes with features like 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 450 and Android Oreo 8.0.

Flipkart has now confirmed that along with the Honor 7C, the Honor 7A will also be launched alongside the Honor 7C.

Honor 7C Specifications

If we talk about specs, the Honor 7C sports a 5.99-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It is coupled with 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM with 32GB or 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.


Camera wise, it sports a dual rear camera with a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and a secondary 2MP camera. There is an 8MP front-facing camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture. It comes with a Fingerprint sensor on the back.

It also sports a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. It is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. Dimension wise it measures 158.3 x 76.7 x 7.8mm and weighs 164g. The Dual SIM (Nano + Nano + microSD) phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top.

 

Honor 7A specifications

Honor 7A sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) FullView 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top. The Dual SIM phone has dedicated card slot for two SIM cards and microSD card.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU. Memory wise it packs, 2GB or 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.

In the camera department, it has the dual rear camera with a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and a secondary 2MP rear camera for depth effects. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.

The phone features a back mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. The device gets power from a 3000mAh built-in battery.
