Lava International limited, today launched the upgraded version of Lava Iris 402, dubbed as Lava Iris 402+ which will feature a faster and better chipset over its predecessor. Rests of the hardware specs remain similar to the predecessors.
This phone employs the 1.3 GHz Dual core processor backed by 512 MB of RAM. The RAM capacity has been doubled as compared to Lava Iris 402 which has 256 MB RAM. The added RAM will definitely enhance your android experience. The internal storage has also been increased to 4 GB which was a huge limiting factor in the predecessor with only 100 MB available at the users end.
The display remains same with 4 inch size and 480 x 800 pixels spread across it. This Dual SIM phone runs on Android 4.3 operating system and the display will be pretty usable for first time users.
The primary camera is of 3 MP and the secondary camera is a VGA camera which can be used for video recording. The battery capacity is 1500 mAh which is expected to last around 4 hours with moderate usage. Other connectivity features include 3G, Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi and AGPS.

The Lava Iris 402+ has been launched at 6,499 INR, exactly 1000 INR more than Lava Iris 402. The new phone comes in 3 colors – Metallic Grey, Metallic Brown, Ivory White. The extra 1000 bucks spent on the new iris 402+ will be well worth it as the predecessor had really limiting features.
