Micromax has finally launched Micromax Canvas Mad A94 in India for Rs. 8,400 and this new smartphone will pay you for watching Ads. The phone has a Mad App which credits some points in your user account which can be later credited as Rupees to your Pre-paid or Post paid account.
With one time registration, the service will work for all opted-in subscribers across all telecom operators. Most of the rumored specs were true. The phone will be powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor unlike the 1.3 GHz quad core processor rumored earlier. The Antutu score observed before launch was 13630 which might not be the same in the end device.

It is also going to prove to be a game changer for operator eco-system who are looking at newer and innovative ways to help them improve their profitability from every user”
Micromax Canvas Mad A94 will sport a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display with unspecified resolution. The RAM paired with the chipset is 512 MB and internal storage is standard 4 GB which can be further extended to 32 GB using MicroSD support.
Both the front and back camera have 5 MP sensor and both are Auto focus cameras. The battery capacity is 1800 mAh which will provide you with only 150 hours of standby time and 5 hours of talk time. Web browsing time will be 4 hours on a single charge. Connectivity features include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS
The Android 4.2 based Dual SIM smartphone is 9.6 mm thick and will come preloaded with various apps like Hike, Kingsoft Office, BBM, etc. The phone presents an innovative approach from Micromax and is available for purchase starting from today. The availability of Mad (Mad about Ads) service across all telecom subscriber as made the proposal even more interesting. It remains to be seen to what extent Micromax will subsidize you calls with watching advertisements.
