Moto G5 Plus 4GB RAM variant now available for Rs. 14,999

Lenovo owned Motorola has announced a price cut for the Moto G5 Plus smartphone in India. The 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant of the Moto G5 Plus has got a price cut of Rs. 2,000 and is now available for Rs. 14,999.

The phone was launched for Rs 16,999 in India back in March. As Motorola has just launched the successors of Moto G5 series, the Moto G5S and the Moto G5S Plus in India after introducing them globally last month. Interestingly, the 3GB/16GB variant is still priced at Rs. 14,999.

Moto G5 Plus Specifications

To recall, the Moto G5 Plus features a 5.2-inch full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is sleek at 7.7 mm of thickness and weighs 155 grams. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box along with Google Assistant.

Moto G5 Plus

The Moto G5 Plus is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2.0GHz which is paired with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone comes in two memory variants, 3GB and 4GB RAM with 16GB or 32GB internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 128 GB with micro-SD card support.

On the camera front, it sports a 12 MP autofocus camera on the back with dual tone LED flash and f/1.7 aperture. On the front, it features a 5 MP Wide-angle Lens with f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto G5 Plus packs a 3,000mAh battery along with a Turbo charger. Connectivity options on Moto G5 Plus include 4G VoLTE, dual SIM, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a microUSB port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

Pricing and Availability

Currently, both the 3GB and 4GB RAM variants of the G5 Plus are being sold for Rs. 14,999 on Flipkart in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold color options. The company may soon slash the prices of the 3GB RAM variant.
