Nokia X6

HMD Global is gearing up to launch the Nokia X6, the first smartphone under the X series in China tomorrow. The smartphone has been confirmed to be launched on May 16 and some its specifications had already been revealed when the device was certified. Now, the price and the detailed specifications of the device have been leaked by Suning, an online Chinese retailer.

Nokia has been teasing its Nokia X series smartphone for a long time and it was rumored that HMD would launch the new phone in China on May 16. Moreover, the phone has also been listed on certification sites in China. These reports have suggested that the Nokia X6 is expected to feature a notch display with a glossy back panel. Now, the latest leak has confirmed these features and also revealed its China pricing.

Nokia X6 Specifications

The Nokia X6 is expected to come with a 5.8 inch display with Full HD+ (2280 x 1080) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone will feature a 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with the Adreno 509 GPU. The smartphone will come with 3GB / 4GB / 6GB RAM and 32GB / 64GB internal storage

The Nokia X6 will come with a hybrid SIM tray and it will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with stock UI. Coming to the cameras, the device will come with a dual camera setup with a 16MP and 5MP sensor. The camera will support EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and LED flash. On the front, the device will come with a 16MP secondary camera for selfies and video calling.

The fingerprint sensor will be placed at the rear side of the smartphone. The smartphone comes with all the connectivity options – 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS and GLONASS. The Nokia X6 will come with a 3,060mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support.

Nokia X6 Price

The Nokia X6 will come in three colors – Blue, Black, and Silver. The smartphone is expected to be priced at 1499 Yuan which is roughly Rs. 16,000 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. There is no information on when Nokia X6 will come to India.
