Spice has today launched its first 64 bit Snapdragon 410 running smartphone – Spice Stellar 519 – for 8, 499 INR. The handset also the first 4G LTE smartphone from the domestic manufacturer and will be available in major retail stores starting today.
Spice Stellar 519 comes with a popular 5 Inch display with FWVGA resolution, driven by Adreno 306 GPU in 1.2 GHz quad Cortex A53 cores chip with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. The handset is running 32 bit Android 4.4 KitKat software and thus won’t harness full 64 bit power till lollipop upgrade.
The dual SIM smartphone also includes an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 3.2 MP front camera for selfies and video calling. The handset also supports 4G LTE connectivity, besides 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
There is a 2500 mAh battery inside, but Spice hasn’t talked about backup yet. Internal storage is further expandable by another 32 GB using MicroSD card slot.
