Sony Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium Smartphones Launched in India

Sony finally launched their much awaited dual sim smartphones Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium in India today after announcing them earlier at IFA 2015. The Xperia Z5 carries a price tag of INR 52,990 and is slated to go on sale starting October 23 while the Xperia Z5 Premium is priced at INR 62,990 and will go on sale next month on November 7.

Android 5.1 Lollipop based Xperia Z5 is a dual-sim smartphone and features a 5.20 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It is powered by an Octa-core 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3 GB RAM.

It comes with 32 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card. A 23 Megapixel rear camera graces the beautifully designed Xperia Z5 along with a 5 Megapixel front-facing camera to capture those perfect selfies. It runs on a 2900 mAh non-removable battery and the device will be available in White, Graphic Black, Gold and Green colors.

Coming to the Xperia Z5 Premium, it is Android 5.1 Lollipop based dual sim smartphone too and features a larger 5.5 inch 4K display (2160 x 3840 pixels) with amazing pixel density of 806 PPI (Pixels Per Inch). Like the Xperia Z5, it also packs in an Octa-core 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3 GB RAM.


It comes with internal storage capacity of 32 GB which can be further expanded up to 200 GB via microSD card. The Xperia Z5 Premium comes with the same 23 MP rear camera along with 5 MP front camera. It is powered by a bumped up 3430 mAh non-removable battery and the device will be available in Chrome, Gold and Black colors.
