Nokia has announced two “light on pocket” feature phones, Nokia 107 (Quick Review) and Nokia 108 (Quick Review), which come in various color options and are priced at Rs. 1607 and Rs. 1883 respectively. Both of these phones support Dual SIM functionality and that will be the USP of these phones.
Both of these phones sport a 1.8 Inch 160 x 128 pixel display and run on Series 30 OS. Nokia phones are popular for their long Standby times. The Nokia 107 comes with a bigger 1020 mAh battery as compared to Nokia 108 which sports a 950 mAh battery.
Nokia 108 justifies its price tag over Nokia 107 by bringing additional features like a Video recording enabled VGA camera at the back and Bluetooth 3.0. It also supports SLAM for multimedia sharing Via Bluetooth.
Future of these features phones still remain uncertain, and the picture will be clearer only after the Microsoft Nokia deal goes through. For now there is business as usual and Nokia will soon launch other feature phones in its Asha series like Nokia Asha 503 and Nokia Asha 502 at Nokia World in Abu Dabhi, on October 22.
Both of these phones come with Music Player and FM radio. You can also store all your music in a microSD card of up to 16 GB in Nokia 107 and up to 32 GB in Nokia 108. Nokia 107 comes in Red, Black and White colors whereas Nokia 108 features Yellow, White, Red, Cyan and Black colors. Both of these phones can be purchased from Nokia store.
