Intex Cloud Y17 with 4.5 Inches Display and Jellybean available at Rs. 6,590

It seems that Intex has decided to fill up their Cloud series smartphones and so they released a new smartphone by the name of Intex Cloud Y17. Following the pattern of other devices in the same Y series, this phone is also not a high end device and so it is available at the price of Rs. 6590 from ebay. This device was spotted on the official website and it is available with Grey and White colors as of now.

The size of the display is around 4.5 Inches with the resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and capacitive touch screen. So, the resolution is pretty low and if you have every used an HD display device then it will be hard for you to work on this resolution. Intex Cloud Y17 is powered by the Mediatek Dual Core MTK6572E which is clocked at the frequency of 1.2 GHz.

The primary camera available on the back panel of the device is of 5 MP and the secondary camera is VGA camera. The 5 MP primary camera is also supported by a single LED flash. The operating system on which it operates is Android 4.2 Jellybean. So getting to use Android 4.2 and watching the videos on 4.5 Inches Display at the price of Rs. 6590 is a good deal for a customer.

The memory allocated to RAM is 512 MB and the memory allocated as the inbuilt capacity of the device is 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of external memory slot. There is no information about the protective coating that the display might use and whether it will be updated from Android v 4.2 to Android 4.4.


The battery strength of Intex Cloud I7 is 1500 mAh which is decent for 4.5 Inches display with such a low resolution.
