Education start-up Metis Learning has launched another Kid friendly Android tablet in India. The tablet has been designed for students in the age group of 2 to 10 years and is equipped with educator-selected learning content along with food grade plastic, all for Rs. 9,999. Metis Learning claims that the tablet incorporates latest research on technology based education to foster creativity, accelerate learning and boost intelligence in kids.
The recommendation engine in the tablet will guide you to a suitable app from over 50,000 learning apps available on Google playstore. Parents get detailed reports of the content their kids view on the tablet. Parents can also create up to 3 profiles to restrict the access of content to their children.

The food grade shock absorbing tablet body houses a 1.6 dual core processor with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. The Chipset will perform well considering the intended purpose. The IPS LCD display is 7 inches in size and bears 1024 x 600 pixel resolution.
The primary camera has a 2 MP sensor and the front VGA camera is also present for video calling. The 3200 mAh battery will provide you with 4 hours of usage time on a single charge. Over 150 learning games come preloaded on this tablet and Children can read books, learn to play the piano as well as practice math through games on Eddy. Eddy will compete with tablets like Binatone App Star, HCL ME Champ and Swipe Junior Kids Tablet in India.
