Lava Iris 503 was launched in November last year and has been selling well as a 5 inch display smartphone in budget price range. Lava has now launched another variant of the phone Lava Iris 503e. The new budget variant has slightly trimmed down resolution and rest of the specifications are similar.
The 5 inch display sports 854 x 480 pixel resolution. The software is Android 4.2 jelly bean and the processor employed is 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. The storage is also expandable to 32 Gb using MicroSD support.
The imaging hardware also remains same. The phone sports a 5 MP shooter at the back and a 1.3 MP shooter at the front. The phone is moderately thick at 10.45 mm.
The battery capacity is 2000 mAh and other connectivity features include 2G,WiFi 802.11 b/g/n,Bluetooth and GPS. Lava Iris 503e also features Dual SIM connectivity.
If you are looking for a budget Android phone with 5 inch display, this phone packs all the hardware that you could hope for except 3G connectivity.
