Leading global smartphone vendor, Samsung is all set to announce another smartphone for the India market – Galaxy Grand Z. The dual SIM smartphone running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has been listed for pre-order on the retailer website, TheMobileStore bearing a price tag of Rs 18,499. However, the handset has not been listed on the official Samsung eStore yet.
Talking about the specifications, Galaxy Grand Z boasts of a 5 inch touch screen display with a WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. A 1.2 GHz dual-core processor powers the handset along with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage that can further be expanded up to 64 GB using a micro SD card.
The dual SIM Galaxy Grand Z is given an 8 MP primary camera with LED flash and FHD video recording along with a 2 MP front-facer for video calling. Other goodies on board includes 3G, Bluetooth, GPS with GLONASS, Wi-Fi and a 2,100 mAh battery that can deliver up to 10 hours of talk time on 3G networks.
