The Mumbai based firm has launched an octa-core smartphone dubbed Wammy Neo Youth based on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is priced at Rs 8,490.
Detailing on the specifications, the Wicked Wammy Neo Youth arrives with a 5 inch display packing HD resolution of 1280×720 pixels and is powered by a MediaTek octa-core chipset. This processor is supplemented by 1 GB of RAM and Mali 450 MP graphics engine. On the imaging front, the device packs a 13 MP primary snapper that is teamed up with LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing unit to help making video calls and clicking gorgeous looking selfies.
The storage demands of the users are addressed by 8 GB of native storage capacity that can be expanded externally up to 64 GB by means of a micro SD card. Connectivity features onboard include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and there is a 2,200 mAh battery.
The highlight of Wickedleak Wammy Neo Youth is that it is the cheapest octa-core smartphone available in the market. In simple words, the firm has set a new standard for the octa-core smartphones by launching a device in the sub Rs 10,000 price bracket. It will definitely be a tough challenger for the other low cost octa-core devices available in the market for now. Also, this will trigger the other vendors to come up with similarly priced devices making the consumers spoilt with choices.
Furthermore, Wickedleak is providing a free flip cover which is speculated to arrive with S View kind of an opening. The Wammy Neo Youth will enter pre-booking from July 15 for Rs 8,490 from the official Wickedleak store.
