While launching its Zenfone lineup in India, the Taiwan based tech vendor Asus also announced the Zenfone 4 with the model number A450CG. This handset has relatively better specifications as compared to the 4 inch model, Zenfone 4 A400CG and it is priced at Rs 6,999.
Today, Asus has announced that the Zenfone 4 A450CG will be put up for pre-order starting from the midnight of August 24. Like the other handsets in this series, this one will also be made available exclusively via the e-commerce giant Flipkart only. Moreover, the vendor has not revealed when exactly the pre-booked smartphones will be shipped to the consumers.
To recap on the specifications, the Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG is fitted with a 4.5 inch display carrying a screen resolution of 854×480 pixels layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor that is coupled with a 1 GB of RAM are included the handset. There is 8 GB of default storage space that can be extended externally up to 64 GB with the help of a micro SD card.
Asus has given the handset an average imaging hardware to the handset with an 8 MP primary snapper that is teamed up with LED flash for a better performance under low light. At the front, there is a VGA front-facing selfie camera for video conferencing. Other goodies onboard include usual connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and a 1,750 mAh battery.
