Homegrown vendor Intex is lately launching a slew of entry-level smartphones its Aqua lineup and the latest one in the series of the Aqua Style Mini. The handset has been launched for a tempting price tag of Rs 4,990 and it is a downgraded version of the Intex Aqua Style that was announced last month for Rs 5,990.
Detailing on the technical specifications front, the Intex Aqua Style Mini is fitted with a 4 inch AMOLED display that has a 480×800 screen resolution. The handset uses a 1 GHz dual-core MT6572 processor from MediaTek’s stable and this is backed by 512 MB of RAM. At its back, the device uses a 5 MP primary snapper supplemented with LED flash and there is a front-facing VGA camera as well.
There is a standard 4 GB of native storage capacity in the Intex smartphone and this can be further expanded externally up to 32 GB using a micro SD card. Connectivity features onboard include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and aGPS. A 1,400 mAh battery energizes the Aqua Style Mini with the ability to pump in up to 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time to the entry-level smartphone.
With the aforementioned entry-level aspects, this Intex handset find a tough challenge from the global players with their offerings such as Moto E, Asus Zenfone 4 and Xiaomi Redmi 1S that are priced in the same range.
