Intex has announced a new smartphone in its Aqua lineup with the launch of Aqua Slice priced at Rs 7,990. The device is fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box and makes use of a quad-core MediaTek chipset.
The Intex Aqua Slice boasts of a 4.5 inch fully laminated IPS LCD display with FWVGA screen resolution of 854×480 pixels. The handset draws power from a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 chipset that is supplemented by 1 GB of RAM and Mali 400 graphics unit to handle the multi-tasking and graphics departments smoothly.
The Intex smartphone packs 8 GB of native storage space that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. Also, there is an 8 MP primary camera onboard that is accompanied by a 5 MP front-facing seflie snapper that facilitates in making video calls. Interestingly, both the front and the rear shooters are paired with LED flash thereby making this smartphone a selfie focused one in this price range.
The other goodies onboard the Intex Aqua Slice are 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS and dual SIM connectivity features that are pretty standard. Also, there is a 1,650 mAh battery that energizes the phone providing up to 6 hours of talk time.
