Notion Ink has announced a new Cain 8 tablet that is powered by Windows 8 opetating system for the Indian market. This new tablet is priced at Rs 9,990 and it uses an Intel chipset under its hood. Notion Ink has partnered with online retailer Snapdeal to sell this tablet exclusively along with an 8 GB memory card as a promotional offer.
The Notion Ink Cain 8 I is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735F chipset housing a 1.33 GHz quad core processor paired with Intel HD graphics and 1 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of internal storage capacity in the slate that can be expanded externally up to 64 GB using a micro SD card.
There is a 4,000 mAh battery in the device that can pump in a moderate backup to the slate. The Cain 8 is given an 8 inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels. On the imaging front, there are dual 2 MP cameras on the Notion Ink Cain 8 that can be handy to capture snaps. Connectivity aspects onboard include 3G via SIM card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, micro HDMI and USB OTG.
