The upcoming Galaxy E7 with the model number SM-E7000 appears to be surfacing in numerous leaks lately. It was only in the last week that the specifications of the device got leaked and now, they have got confirmed via a leaked benchmark listing.
According to GFXBench listing leaked by someone in possession of a Galaxy E7 prototype confirm the significant innards of the device. Going by the same, the yet to be announced smartphone will arrive with a 5.5 inch HD 720p display and incorporate a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC housing 1.2 GHz quad core Cortex A53 processor, Adreno 306 graphics unit and 2 GB of RAM.
For storage, the Galaxy E7 is likely to boast of 16 GB of native storage capacity of which 12 GB would be available to users, but there is no word regarding the expandable storage support. It is claimed that the device will be fueled by Android 4.4.4 KitKat, though there were rumors suggesting Android 5.0 Lollipop. Other aspects as revealed by this listing, the Galaxy E7 would arrive with a 12 MP primary camera, a 5 MP front facer and connectivity features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC.
These specifications hint that the Galaxy E7 would not be a high end device as it was expected to be. Notably, it is definitely not a low end device as it features mediocre aspects. May be, it could be the Samsung Galaxy Alpha 2 or a real new series of smartphones. Anyways, there is an increased possibility for Samsung to launch this device at the upcoming CES 2015 in January.
