HTC to launch Low Cost Desire 526G+ and HTC VO2 in India Soon

HTC has imported two new smartphones HTC Desire 526G+ and HTC VO2 in India with 4.7 Inch display in India. This is the first time we have heard of these devices and we can expect these to be officially launched in India early next year.

Both HTC Desire 526G+ and HTC VO2 lie on the lower end of the spectrum and support dual SIM functionality. The HTC Desire 526G+ carries an import price of 6,728 INR which hints at a less than 10,000 INR retail price, while HTC VO2 costs even lesser at 3,179 hinting at an entry level budget challenger.

HTC has been actively trying to make amends in Indian smartphone market. The company had a good run this year with Desire 816 series smartphones and other low cost devices like HTC Desire 620G. High end smartphones like HTC One M8 and HTC One E8 also managed to grab everyone’s attention. In 2015 we would like to see HTC more active in under 10,000 INR price range.
