Meizu India Adventure To Begin with M1 Note Phablet, Probably Next Month

The next Chinese big gun to enter Indian smartphone space could be Meizu. The company is already operating its India Facebook page which confirms that Meizu will soon foray in India riding on Meizu M1 Note.


Meizu is one of the most influential young smartphone brand in china, and to begin with, it will be competing with Xiaomi Redmi Note, Yureka and other low cost online exclusives in India.

This could be the first 1.7 GHz MT6752 64 bit octa core powered smartphone to launch in India. As the ‘Note’ moniker suggests this is a large 5.5 Inch Gorilla Glass 3 display phablet, with full HD display, 2 GB RAM and 16GB/ 32 GB non expandable internal storage.

There is a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfies shooter for photography enthusiasts. Other features include 4G LTE, dual SIM support, Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a juicy 3140 mAh battery. Like other Chinese brands, you will get a heavily skinned custom UI layer (Flyme 4.0) based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.


You can visit Meizu India Facebook page and participate in various contest to try your luck at winning a new Meizu M1 Note, before official launch. India price is expected to start for under 10,000 INR for 16 GB variant. Though Meizu hasn’t announced any official launch date, you can expect M1 Note to arrive by next month in India.
